Many early R35 GR6 transaxles fail due to the circlip/retainer groove on the front of the output shaft failing. In the worst cases, both the output shaft and front output gears are damaged.
PAR billet output shafts are made from our proprietary EN36C material, shot peened and cryogenically treated as part of the production process resulting in a much stronger than OEM shaft. The front circlip retainer area has been strengthened with a threaded bore to facilitate the fitment of an extra retainer for the front output drive gear.
